Foam & Coating – American Patriots Roofing

Grain Facility Spray Foam & Coating

A grain facility roof has one enemy: seams. Every seam and every fastener is a future leak, and a leak over stored grain is money rotting in real time.

That is why this massive ag facility got spray-applied foam and coating. The foam goes on as one continuous layer over every ridge, lap, and fastener head, then gets sealed under a protective coating. No seams, no weak points, one watertight roof.

In the photos you can see our crew tied off and working the deck section by section, mid-spray. That is what seamless actually looks like while it is happening.

Foam & Coating (SPF)

Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) roofing is a seamless, spray-applied system that delivers both insulation and waterproofing in a single application. With no joints or seams to fail, it’s one of the most leak-resistant systems available.

SPF offers outstanding insulation value, around R-6.5 per inch, making it a smart energy upgrade for existing buildings. It’s lightweight, self-flashing, and conforms to virtually any roof shape, which makes it ideal for irregular rooftops and retrofit applications.

Best of all, an SPF roof is renewable: instead of a costly tear-off, it’s simply recoated every 10 to 15 years, extending its life almost indefinitely. We finish every foam roof with a durable elastomeric or silicone protective coating.
